WestsideGunn
WestsideGunn
Westside Gunn. Gritty, Grimy with a Mainstream flow. Fly at its best, WSG is an artist from the streets of Buffalo, NY who’s style has been compared to the likes of early Nas, Raekwon & AZ. Recently having been released, and seen in the DONDIVA with Sly Green, Gunn came out the cell running. A founding member of the rap crew SE GANG, he showcases his skillfully selected bars, braggadocios flow mixed with 90's underground boom bap making him a radio ready icon amongst fashion lovers, HipHop heads & dope dealers across the land. Westside Gunn's money talking bravado ironically paints the picture of an artist that still makes music for the respect and looks willing to see where the chips may lay without sacrificing the art. To put it in simpler terms, WSG looks to be someone that you’ll be talking about for a very longtime. A "street backpacker” is what he likes to call himself & once you hear his music you’ll know why these words hold true. Be ready.

Conway arrives with her second Columbia EP, Shut Up, already hailed as a unique and eclectic pop force with longer-term prospects on the horizon.

Rolling Stone has praised her as ‘enthralling,’ with Noisey calling the commanding title track a ‘high velocity kiss-off.’ Never shy, Conway is seen in a recent Fuse TV interview being asked ‘Just who are you telling to shut up?’ She didn’t miss a beat.
‘Wherever it applies.’
“I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and make whatever music felt good regardless of genre/style boundaries. I challenged myself to make songs that were catchy while still maintaining substance and lyrics.

She came up with the song “Big Talk” and, following her instincts, shot a video for it on her MacBook after another friend made a clip that didn’t meet her standards.

Her homemade sauce went viral after a 1-day feature from Nylon.com, and it led to an avalanche of label interest, causing Conway to do a little more than pinch herself.

Her Columbia debut EP, Big Talk, followed in 2013, as did acclaimed opening spots on tours with St. Lucia and Ellie Goulding in the US, and Charli XCX in London in 2014.
