Machine Gun Kelly hits up the Roxy this Sunday, May 15, for a show with opening acts Vi and Vandalyzm!
Not to be confused with the notorious gangster, Machine Gun Kelly, or MGK for short hails from Cleveland Ohio, and shows his midwest pride in his hit single “Cleveland” off his Lace Up Album. This rappers ability to deliver a spit-fire flow earned him the MGK title and was heavily influenced by Cleveland’s finest: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
The american rapper has already been featured in XXL magazine and has been credited for the white rap artist movement along with fellow rappers Yelawolf and Mac Miller, another MC quickly rising on top.
To keep up with MGK, check out his website and video series “Half Naked and Almost Famous” where he keeps his fans updated on his latest ventures, and make sure to head down to The Roxy to catch Cleveland’s own Machine Gun Kelly tear up the stage!
Chicago based MC Vi has reeled in fans due to the soulful sound infused into the bars he lays down. Greatly influenced by musical greats including Al Green, James Brown and Lenny Williams, this MC shows how versatile he is and has caught the attention of music execs including DJ Skee and Hip Hop legend KRS-ONE who featured Vi on the title song “The MC”.
